The Methodist Church in the UK  All Methodist churches in the UK are governed by the Methodist Conference, which is drawn from equal numbers of lay and ordained members, and meets each year in July. Officers in the national church are elected by the Conference. The President of Conference holds office for one year, a year in which he visits every district in the country. Further details can be obtained at www.methodist.org.uk

The Wirral Methodist Circuit is part of the Liverpool District of the Methodist Church and comprises 26 churches on the Wirral. Its governing body is the Circuit meeting, comprising the ordained staff and elected members from the constituent churches.
